Being a Cub Scout
In Cub Scouts you’ll develop #SkillsForLife, learn about the world around you and enjoy time spent with other Cubs, have fun and help each other to rise to new challenges.
Come along and see what we’re getting up to. We meet Tuesday evenings from 18:30 to 20:00.
Activities and what we do
Our Cub Pack brings adventure and learning to our 8 to 10 1/2 year old members. We go camping indoors and outdoors, as well as going on day trips. At our Pack meetings, we develop our skills, teamwork and spend plenty of time playing games.
Badges and Awards
Work towards your activity badges and rise to the challenge of the Cub Scout awards scheme. Find out how to gain Activity Badges and Challenge Awards
Cub Scout leaders
This section is led by our Cub Scout Leader “Akela“. All of our leaders are trained volunteers, working to make sure Scouting is safe, inclusive and accessible. Some lead the Pack week in and week out. Others visit occasionally to help run a session or drop in to share their skills.
Uniform and badge placement
You don’t need a uniform to join. But once you’ve settled in, you’ll start speedily earning badges, and you’ll need to know where to put them!
We usually have a number of Cub Scout Jumpers in stock. Neckers are supplied when your Cub Scouts make their promise and are invested.
