Being a Beaver Scout
When you join Beavers, you’ll be introduced to lots of new activities, people and things.
We meet for an hour every Tuesday during term time at 1830. Come along and find out what we’re all about.
Activities and what you’ll get up to
Our Beaver Colony brings fun and discovery to our 6 to 8 year old members. We go on trips and have Beaver Sleepovers, as well as our weekly Colony meetings, where we play games and do fun activities.
Badges and Awards
Work towards your activity badges and rise to the challenge of the Beaver Scout awards scheme. Complete the challenges and earn your Chief Scout Bronze award. Find out how to gain Activity Badges and Challenge Awards
Beaver leaders
This section is led by out Beaver Scout Leader “Badger” and “Rikki“. All of our leaders are trained volunteers, working to make sure Scouting is safe, inclusive and accessible. Some lead the Pack week in and week out. Others visit occasionally to help run a session or drop in to share their skills.
Uniform and badge placement
You don’t need a uniform to join. But once you’ve settled in, you’ll start speedily earning badges, and you’ll need to know where to put them!
We usually have a number of Beaver Scout Jumpers in stock. Neckers are supplied when your Beaver Scouts make their promise and are invested.
