One of our favourite back to basics campsites is Boarfold. Our scouts had a weekend camp and our beavers joined us for the day on Saturday.
Scout activities over the weekend were a short night hike around the site, some indoor activities, wide games, clay modelling, fire-lighting, fire extinguishing, archery, paper grenade bases, and—what was that song the Scouts were singing again?—H.O.T.D.O.G.Os?
Meanwhile, our Beavers had a good route around and made dens.
Some found old socks and some even discovered Kryptonite!
